Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum (Indianapolis, IN)

Indianapolis Motor SpeedwayThose of you who are into race cars…or anything made of steel and has wheels should have a field day when you make a bus tour stop at one of Indianapolis’ top attractions by tour bus….the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum! We all know how exciting and through-the-roof the atmosphere is during race week but not all is lost if there’s no race when you’re there. You see, they have this neat little tour that you can take at their museum. Surprisingly, it was both quite entertaining and informative!

It will be especially meaningful if you got to tour this little museum before attending one of the races. Will surely pump some adrenaline into you come race time! In a very comfortable air-conditioned bus, you’ll tour the place while learning new fascinating facts about the golf course and the F1 track there. When you make a bus tour stop here, you’ll get to walk around the place from the starting line onward – beat that! Imagine all those monster engines revving on behind you and you get to touch the yard of bricks too. Learning all about how the media center, the pit, the winners’ circle was definitely enlightening. I mean, you see all of this on television but what you see is only on the outside. To get the real deal, you’ll have to make a bus tour stop here at this Indianapolis attraction to get behind the scene!

At the museum, it’s your chance to get up close-and-personal with some of the most magnificent cars the human race has ever made. From Maserati to Ford, from Chevy to Chrysler. You dig into the history of these cars and you’ll be astounded by how far we’ve come.

So, be sure to make a bus tour stop at this Indianapolis gem if you’re a speed freak because it’s going to be worth every dollar and every minute you spend there. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum is on 4790 W. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46222-2550. For details, visit their website at www.indy500.com/museum or call 317-484-6748.
