Golden Gate Park (San Francisco California)

San Francisco Golden Gate ParkApart from NYC’s Central Park, there are no other parks quite as beautiful as San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park! And we have John McLaren (not the F1 racing car, please) to thank for. McLaren was a Scotsman who transformed the thousand plus acre of land into the stunning beauty that it is today. Placed right smack in the hustling and bustling of San Francisco, the atmosphere is as far removed from city life as you can ever imagine. When you make a bus tour stop here, you’ll see how this lush landscape has everything for everyone….irregardless of age, sex, religion or hobby.

At every single turn, you can find things to do at this San Francisco attraction like walking, jogging, bike riding, lawn bowling, horseback riding, skating/skateboarding, a medium-sized golf course…etc. With that many activities to do there, you can easily spend the whole day at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The kids will all have a ball at the live buffalo reserve and carousel – no doubts about that! The Japanese Garden is a stone’s throw away for those looking for something less physical to do and they can also check out the California Academy of Sciences.

What’s astonishing is that the park is completely man-made and sheer number of greens there is so amazing. This San Francisco bus tour attraction is very well-manicured and the state is highly protective of this San Francisco attraction as they keep traffic AWAY from the park. Romancing couples of bus tour holiday trips can spend some time sitting at the park overlooking the beautiful lake; taking an energetic hike together down one of their trails isn’t such a bad idea either. Bonding through exercise is always a good thing, they always say. although the park is beautiful all year round, you should make a San Francisco bus tour stop here during summer….that’s when the whole places comes alive with activities of all kinds. Free concerts, anyone?

Game for some greens in San Francisco? Head on over to Stanyan & Fulton Sts, San Francisco, CA 94118 then. For details, call +1 415 831 2700 or visit their official website at http://www.sfgov.org
