Lauriol Plaza (Washington DC)

This is Washington DC at its best! If you’re ever in Washington DC for a bus tour holiday, you should make a bus tour stop at Lauriol Plaza which is well-loved by bus tour visitors and locals alike. You can tell because the queue is long and the wait can take forever. But is it worth it, you ask? Definitely! That’s because you won’t find another restaurant in Washington DC that is as colorful and festive. For many years now, they have been serving many satisfied bus tour and local customers who always come back for more.

When you walk in, you’ll feel very cozy and comfortable. What I like it is the simplicity of this top-rate Washington DC restaurant. You won’t regret taking the Washington DC tour bus there because it makes the place all the more unpretentious. Of course, there’s the FABULOUS food that everyone raves on about. This Washington DC restaurant, Lauriol Plaza, offers a nice blend of Spanish, Mexican and Texan-Mexican cuisine…a little of everything. The result is a blend of totally unique food you’ll want to sample more than once. For example, the fajitas are literally legendary as well as many of their grilled entrees. You should also try their paellas and marinated pork. It’s hard to find another restaurant that can rival Lauriol Plaza’s standard as far as food is concerned.

If you think time will change their standard, think again! They appear to be extremely consistent with the quality of their food, so, no matter when it is that you make a bus tour stop at this Washington DC restaurant, you will always find mouth-watering food. If there’s one thing they should work on, it’s the customer service although it could be a rumor or perhaps the waiter was caught on a bad day. Irregardless, the food and atmosphere more than made up for it. After dinner, order one of their margaritas with a swirl of flavor. Totally outstanding!

Don’t miss the chance to experience some of the best dishes in Washington DC by tour bus. Ready? Head on over to Lauriol Plaza at 1835 18th St, Northwest, Washington, DC 20009-5526. For details, call +1 202 387 0035 or visit their website at www.lauriolplaza.com. The open for lunch Sundays to Thursdays 11.30am till 11pm. Dinner time from Friday to Saturday is 11.30am till midnight. Brunching hour is 11am till 3pm on Sundays.
