Twins Jazz (Washington DC, DC)

Washington DC is a place where everything pulsates with life. From their water fountains to their shopping malls, everything feels ALIVE. You’ll be missing a lot if you’ve never had a bus tour holiday trip to Washington DC….really. As can be seen with the people of Washington DC, there’s another place that comes to life come night time and it is Washington DC’s very own Twins Jazz! If you’re a jazz fan on a bus tour holiday here, be sure to get yourself to U Street to feel what life is all about. Twins Jazz is essentially a restaurant but when the moon is high, grassroots musicians pumps the place up for the show of your lifetime.
The decor itself is impressive as it is…it is adorned with colorful tiles and artwork that gives this place some sort of an artsy feeling. The meals at Washington DC’s Twins Jazz are rather good even though most of the people here come to Twins Jazz for the music and drinks. They serve an Ethiopian fare you should not pass up on. Get some curry chicken, red snapper or plantains to go with your drinks, in fact. They have a wide range of food and drinks – no worries too if you’d rather just stick to what you know best…beer.

There’s a cover charge to get in which range between $10 and $30 and you have to take a minimum of 2 drinks which is quite the norm with any Washington clubs and pubs. For bookings, send them an email at bookings@twinsjazz.com. They cover private events and catering too, for this, email loveleigh@twinsjazz.com.

The musicians here are incredibly talented and because the place isn’t very big, they get to interact very closely with their listeners! It was astonishingly entertaining. So, if you’re ready to have a good time listening to jazz music, head on over to Twins Jazz on U Street, Washington DC during your bus tour holiday trip. They can be found at 1344 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009 • 202-234-0072 and their website is http://www.twinsjazz.com.
