The National Aquarium (Baltimore Maryland)

If you’ve lived in Baltimore Maryland for at least a couple of months, you won’t want to move away anywhere else! The diverse culture provides a nice backdrop for the many attractions here for bus tour holiday goers like you. One of the best Baltimore bus tour attractions is the National Aquarium in Baltimore. You might be a little unimpressed at the start of your bus tour stop here because they start off showcasing all the smaller marine wildlife here but hang around a little longer and you’ll come ‘nose-to-nose’ with a lot of other bigger sea animals like sharks and dolphins. Of course, the highlight of the bus tour holiday stop at this Baltimore Aquarium is the dolphin show.

The dolphin show is, although not too different from other dolphin shows in other aquariums, it is still a positively magnificent show! The closer you sit to the pool, the higher your chances of getting splashed by these playful animals.

They have a neat little children’s corner where there are tons of activities for the kids to do during your Baltimore bus tour stop here. There could have been more but it should keep the kids occupied for hours there! After the show, if you finish off in the evening, just sit there in your rented tour bus and look up at the magnificently lit-up buildings and take some pictures. Very romantic and beautiful at the same time. Another great exhibit is the seahorse exhibit…you won’t see as many seas horses in one single aquarium at the same time.

We feel that we should note that if you make a bus tour stop at this Baltimore aquarium during peak hours of during the weekends, be prepared for a little bit of a wait. Sometimes, the wait can take hours, so, be warned. But even with the crowd and the long wait, this remains one of the most popular bus tour attractions in Baltimore Maryland. It’s a must-do with kids in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Maryland National Aquarium is at 501 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202-3103. For details, call + 410 576 3800 or email reserve@aqua.org.
