Although Laughlin has plenty to offer in scenery, attractions, shopping and dining, it is surely a golfers delight with three courses in the city and another six golf courses within short driving distances. In Laughlin, the Mojave Resort Golf Club offers a championship course with wide fairways and four sets of tees to allow golfers choose their own challenge. Golfers will enjoy the natural vegetation challenges as well as the in-shaped sand dunes. The Emerald River Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course that is full of narrow fairways and challenging contours. If you're up for a third course, try the Riverview Resort and Golf Club. This nine-hole, par 3 course will challenge the most skilled golfers with the sand traps, lakes and rolling greens.

If you're up for a challenge away from the golf course then head to Spirit Mountain for a tough hike that will provide views of Lake Mojave and the high desert country around Laughlin. Your hike will take you through three flats including a stand of junipers and pinion pines. Spirit Mountain can be seen from Laughlin to the west where you'll see a large mountain. Enjoy the view of Spirit Mountain from Laughlin at sunset, and if you're an early riser, watch the mountain glow red on a clear day.

Grapevine Canyon is a much easier hike than Spirit Mountain. One of the most spectacular things you'll see while hiking the Canyon is the ancient petroglyph drawings by the Yuman. The petroplyphs tell the mythological story of how the Mojave Region of the Colorado River cam to be. Enjoy looking at and studying these artifacts of Grapevine Canyon while you enjoy the hiking and the scenery it all has to offer.

One of the most exciting places to eat while in Laughlin is the Colorado Belle. This ship offers several choices for eating establishments on the D deck. The Orleans Room offers steaks, chops, seafood and Cajun specialties in an elegant dining atmosphere. You'll also find more casual dining at the Paddlewheel Restaurant, Mark Twain's Chicken, ribs and Steak, the Mississippi Lounge and the Captain's Food Fare. To take care of your sweet tooth while aboard the Colorado Belle, check out the Candy Shoppe and the Ice Cream Expresso rooms. Laughlin offers a number of diners, restaurants, pubs and shops where visitors can find a quick bite to eat, or settle down to enjoy an evening meal after a busy day of seeing the sites.

If you want to do some shopping while in Laughlin, try out the Horizon Outlet Center. You'll enjoy over 55 merchants including an indoor food court and market where you can enjoy a quick bite to eat. Take in a movie in the afternoon at the 9-screen cinema. Horizon's is a fully enclosed two-story center that has it's own distinctive Art Decor throughout the building. Throughout Laughlin, visitors will find a variety of shops and businesses to browse through. Enjoy the various art galleries, craft shops and the many specialty shops that attract visitors year around.
