A Howling Fest – Theatricum Boo-tanicum and The House on Haunted Hill
Nov 1, 2011 - When it comes to Halloween, things are always a big howling fest over here in Los Angeles. It is also a time when many of our regular Los Angeles charter bus rental customers make a grab for our affordable charter bus rental packages for fun festivals and activities like the one at Topanga Theatre on Oct 28, 2011. The fest was held at the Theatricum Botanicum and the event, Theatricum Boo-tanicum, was said to have been such a big thing that kids who attended the event were sure to remember this particular Halloween for a long time to come. This is the first time the theatre company celebrated Halloween in such an elaborate manner but the representatives said that they intend to turn this into an annual affair. There was a haunted house, pumpkin carving activities and adults also gathered the kids around for scary, spooky stories.
The creator of The House on Haunted Hill also had a book reading which was a great success, pulling in kids and teens from across different age groups to the event. William Castle’s daughter was there to bring chills and thrills to tweens and young adults’ hearts during the book reading.
So, how did YOU celebrate your Halloween? And if you used one of our charter bus Los Angeles packages, we sincerely hope you had a good time.
Dining Out – Two Diners Worth Your Time
May 9, 2011 - Everyone knows that when you come to LA, not only do we go celeb hunting, we go food hunting. Far from being an expert on food, US Coachways do know a little about luxury.
Pink's Hot Dog is an amazing joint selling the best burger anyone can ever ask for. Take it from Sally, our regular Los Angeles charter bus rental customer, who would do anything for her regular burger at Pink's. 'No matter how long the line is, there are no complains. You come here expecting a lunch line or a dinner line. If there isn't a line, it is a bonus. But we don't complain because it is the BEST!', she shares with us.
As far as steakhouses go, there is no rivaling Teddy's located along Hollywood Blvd. Not your usual casual dining spot, you are expected to put in a little bit more effort in dressing up. The professionally-dressed servers are very friendly and will answer your questions in a courteous manner. Although you would have to pay a bit more for the wonderful ambiance and service, it is well worth it.
If you are heading out for a luxurious dine-out experience, be sure to give US Coachways a call for that charter bus Los Angeles package that we have waiting for you.
Spring Time, Los Angeles Style
May 9, 2011 - Thinking of getting together with a bunch of friends and some family members for a good spring time downtime? Then we have some ideas for you! If you are traveling in a group, might we remind you that it is always better to make use of US Coachways' affordable charter bus Los Angeles services than to drive to the intended destination in individual cars. With the all-time-high price of gas, you save money on top of doing your bit for the environment.
May 14th 2011 is a much looked-forward-to time of the month, especially for party-goers down in Pasadena. That's when the Jazzy Jam happens in Central Park. A spectacular display of latin jazz, salsa, R&B and gospel music is expected to enthrall fans and friends from near and far.
In the meantime, the LA division of the Liver Foundation is going to run its fifth Annual Flavors event which will feature a stellar cast of chefs from some of the most famous restaurants in LA. There will be nothing short of a five course dinner, side meals and wine too.
So are YOU ready for some good ole spring time fun? If you have answered 'yes', then give us a call for that Los Angeles charter bus rental package that simply waiting to get you there!
Los Angeles Fact File
As we all know, Los Angeles is not called larger than life for nothing. Hollywood, a vibrant night life, endless shopping, long, languid beaches and amazing people coupled with countless number of diners, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs…if anyone wanted to escape the mundane life of a 9 to 5 job, Los Angeles is the perfect place to be. Don’t believe us, just ask one of our charter bus Los Angeles customers, they will tell you the same thing. At the point of writing this, Los Angeles is home to nearly 3.8 million people and is, doubtlessly, the most populous city in the state of California. In the country, it is second only to New York City.
Because of its sunny weather with regular sunshine throughout the year with only approximately thirty five days of rain, the city is popular with tourists and vacationers from all around the world, with or without a charter bus. Los Angeles, as you see when you get here, has the true drawing power purely because of the people and culture.
Although LA does not have their own NFL team, it has hosted two Summer Olympics in the past. In fact, speaking of Summer Olympics, our charter bus Los Angeles customers are ready for the heat where LA will host the Special Olympics World Summer Games in 2015.
