Williams Bus Tours

Planning a Charter Bus Rental in Williams, Arizona?

Williams Shows the Past in the Present

The Arizona town of Williams will take you for a trip into the past while you enjoy all the present day accommodations of this mountain community. From the past, Saloons, shops and bordellos have been given a new life and are part of the historical buildings visitors can visit while strolling down the original brick sidewalks in downtown Williams.

You'll enjoy the Grand Canyon Railway and Resort along with the Williams Depot while touring. The steam and diesel engines, as well as the train cars from Coach to First Class, have been restored to their original state. Take a tour on the railway through the Grand Canyon. You'll learn about the history of the Grand Canyon and the Grand Canyon Railway while musicians find you as they stroll the depot. While on the tour, don't be too surprised if you find yourself witnessing an old fashioned shoot out or a train robbery, as a trip back through the historic Grand Canyon wouldn't be complete without either of these events.

Williams offers visitors another chance of going back in time at the Wild West Junction where you'll relive the Old West. See what life was like as you stroll through the Territorial Museum, Joe Wah's General Store, or get a picture taken at the RB Old Tyme Photo Shop. Of course, the Old West isn't complete without seeing China Camp Saloon or the Old Trails Blacksmith. Don't worry though, there's excitement along the way for everyone with jailbreaks, shootouts and bank robberies. If all the excitement gives you an appetite, grab a bite to eat at the Typhoon Saloon.

Williams offers more than just the past, so if you need a break from the Old West and want to come back to the present, head out to the Elephant Rocks Golf Course where there is a driving range and rental clubs available. This 18 hole course promises to offer more than just a golf course as it will give you some wonderful scenery to look at while traveling from green to green. During your time at the course, swing by the fully stocked pro shop and find a souvenir of your trip.

When you're shopping your way through Williams, be sure to stop at the Pueblo Indian Gallery where you can shop for some of the best Native American arts and crafts in the area. The Pueblo Indian Gallery has jewelry, sculptures, paintings, pottery and authentic rugs and blankets for you to look through and purchase as a wonderful original souvenir of your trip to Williams. The Native American culture is displayed through the magnificent works of numerous Native American Artists in Williams and throughout Arizona as well as surrounding states. The arts and crafts displayed at the gallery are from among some of the best Native American Artists of the Southwest.

Williams will not only take you to the past with restored buildings, saloons and trains, but it brings you into the present through shops, restaurants and lodging opportunities in a city with a great history.
