The Elephant’s Roar (Main Stage)

The main stage is geared to deliver the greatest impact and highest energy of the festival — all day long. The Elephant’s Roar represents New York City, and what better animal than an elephant to portray the city’s enormous size and power. Watch the elephant with its massive presence and gleaming tusks rumble down the avenue amidst the imposing Manhattan skyscrapers. An intelligent animal and also a gentle giant, the elephant conveys the heart of New York City and the good people who live and work there.

Throughout the day the broadest spectrum of music genres play on this stage with huge crowds gathered to hear some of the world’s top DJs.

Hilltop Arena

Going deep underground, Hilltop Arena is the 6th Boro subway station, known for its fast-moving trains and the heavy beats of bass and high-energy music. Flashing strobe lights and hard core wires hanging down make it feel like a futuristic subway, and yet the party goes on everywhere you look.

On Saturday night the backdrop transforms into a Bollywood themed aura with vibrant colors and elaborate theatrical splendor.

6 Pointz

The special zone called 6 Pointz, used to be 5 Pointz, but was renamed to go with the 6th Boro theme. Unlike the flashing lights and high techno feel of some of the other stage, this area is a tribute to graffiti artists in New York and worldwide. Here, you can experience New York’s music and street talents from its best local artists in a less flashy and more familiar type of environment.

Plan Your Labor Day Weekend at Electric Zoo!

Holiday traffic? Forgeddaboutit! New York City is no place to drive anyway — holiday or no holiday. Gather up your friends and family and book a bus with US Coachways. Whatever vehicle size you need, we have it. You can go classy in a limo or party bus or rent a minibus or motor coach. The important thing is to get out, have a good time and celebrate the holiday. If you’ve never been to the Electric Zoo you’re in for an adventure. If you have, it’s time to start a Labor Day tradition. Here are just some of the advantages when chartering a bus:

It’s affordable. Buses are the most economical way to go and with everyone chipping in for fare, you can’t beat it.

It’s safe. Charter buses are the safest ground transportation in the country.
