As with many places in Colorado, Snowmass Village is an attraction for visitors wanting to enjoy the skiing conditions. Snowmass Village offers a wide range of accommodations to fit the budget of visitors, and is one of four mountains in the area that have more than 4,500 acres of terrain. While skiing, take time to drop in at the Wapiti Wildlife Center at the top of Elk Camp lift. You can join a naturalist to learn about the winter wildlife, avalanches and other topics of interest.

The Snowmass Mountain Outfitters handles the paintball activity and many more like mountain biking and trail hiking and guided overnight camping trips.
A four-wheel drive tour could prove to be one of the most exciting tours available in the Snowmass Village area. Riders begin by heading up the mountain to the historic Burlingame Cabin on Mount Daly in the middle of nowhere. Here you will get to see and learn about the geology and history of the area and you may get a chance to see some of the wildlife known to inhabit this area. At the cabin you'll enjoy activities and food, and take a hike to a spectacular overlook on Mount Daly. A full course country style dinner will be enjoyed before the group settles at the campfire to be entertained by live music. The scenery of the stars above you and the tow lights below will highlight the return trip to Snowmass Village.
Throughout the summer, Snowmass Village becomes alive with music. Music for your entertainment will come from a variety of genres including everything from reggae to classical jazz. Free concerts are schedules in Snowmass Village for tourist to enjoy and depending on the weekend, you may get to enjoy the free movies also.
